Jay, 43, also confirms the Magna Carta lyric, "She was a good girl, 'til she knew me" is about his wife, 32. But, to be fair, it was Beyoncé's sweet, kind and genuine personality that initially drew him to her—and Jay had to earn her affection!
As for why Jay and Bey tried to trademark Blue Ivy's name? They didn't want it to be exploited! "People wanted to make products based on our child's name," he says, "and you don't want anybody trying to benefit off your baby's name. It wasn't for us to do anything; as you see, we haven't done anything."
