Ya know, when companies cave to the will of the mob it really sets a dangerous precedent.

 

 

--Yesterday, Instagram did EXACTLY that . . . and went back to its old Terms of Service.  They've been facing a mutiny this week after they unveiled a new Terms of Service that basically said they could SELL YOUR PHOTOS without paying you.

 

 

--The old Terms of Service doesn't have any language saying they'll use your photos in ads or for commercial purposes.  They say they're going to stick with that until they come up with a more specific plan to make money.
